Membership

Welcome as a future member of Grindsted Taekwondo Club.

We are happy that you have shown interest in this ancient Korean martial art, and we hope you are ready to try it out.

You can try 3 training sessions for free before you need to register as a paying member of the club. Included in the membership fee is insurance through the Danish Taekwondo Federation (collective accident insurance, including dental injury insurance). Therefore, it is in your best interest to sign up as soon as possible if you wish to continue in the club.

In addition to our training sessions, we are also a social club that organizes social events for the club’s members several times a year to promote socializing and build relationships across the different classes.

What to wear for your first training sessions

Are you ready to try a training session? If you are 4-8 years old, you can try the mon-team, otherwise the free training sessions are on the beginner team. 

The attire for the trial training sessions are training pants that are easy to move in, and a t-shirt. We train without shoes or socks. Please note that for safety reasons, you must not have very long nails or wear jewelry during training. Please feel free to inform the instructor of the class that you are new, so that adjustments can be made accordingly.

Membership fee

Age	Price
Under 15 years	400 kr.
15 years and up	450 kr.

Membership fee is paid every 6 months.

Training clothes

When you are ready to buy a dobok (training clothes for taekwondo), you can buy one in the "Shop” on our website. When you buy a new dobok, a white belt is also included. After purchasing through the shop, you will be notified when the dobok is ready for pickup, and you can collect it at your next training session.

In addition to the dobok and belt, you will also need a club patch/emblem, which should be sewn onto the left chest of the dobok. The club patch can also be purchased in the "Shop”.
